Following a complaint by the MP that they kidnapped her son, the three are arrested. In the process Chandu loses his leg, while Malli turns deaf due to an attack by the factionists. Despite knowing fully well that their lives are in risk in the faction-ridden Kurnool, the three friends take the boy with them to Kurnool and get him married with the girl. He fell in love with a girl from Kurnool.
After he was saved, the friends come to know that he made suicide bid as the elders were against to their love. In this backdrop, Karuna’s friend, who is the son of an MP (Roja) reaches their place from Hyderabad and makes an attempt to commit suicide. All the three friends had lots of faith on love and is ready to do anything for friendship and love. Chandu is in love with Karunakar’s sister. His father is a hen-pecked husband as he opts a second marriage after the death of Malli’s mother. Malli is the son of a handloom weaver (Kota Srinivasa Rao), who had plans to leave for abroad to earn money. The reason behind this is that his maternal uncle (Tanikella Bharani) wanted to give his daughter Manemma (Priyamani) to a government employee. Karunakar, who completes his graduation with history is trying his best to secure a government job. His father is an ex-serviceman and is very friendly with him. Of them Chandu is a little more educated and wants to establish a computer institute. Karunakar(Ravi Teja), Chandu(Siva Balaji) and Malli(Allari Naresh) are good friends. Once again it was proved that any film would be a hit, if it has a good subject and a director who could deal with the story with a gripping screenplay. The film had lots of emotions, entertainment, action and friendship in its backdrop. They also chose to rope in music director Sundar C Babu of the original again for this film. Both of them had decided to go for a remake of the film and they asked the director of the original film Samudra Khani. The film needs at least three heroes and contacted Ravi Teja who also liked it. Telugu old songs Bellamkonda Suresh, who made many blockbusters with top stars like Balakrishna happened to watch Nadodigal, a Tamil film, and was impressed with the subject.
